Live from Cairoston

I do not transgress

My intention is not to possess
Is not to constrain, is not to disrupt.
My desire is but to share a minute,
and the air you breathe.

You do not need to fear my dear,
I am not a fool to ruin a rose
for its fragrance.
I do not come
to till your lands,
to harvest your yeild
or to further your debt.

I am the wayfarer standing alone
Under the magnolia smiling in glee
The flowers blossom and touch my cheek
As I giggle and sigh
Moving carefully amongst its leaves
Letting them brush my hair and grace my skin
With a deep breath I embrace
What you give from excess
I take not but what you give
and I do not transgress
