Live from Cairoston

but he did not complain

He woke up an hour before the usual … why? he did not know … but he moved a long and did not complain.

He ate his breakfast, which was tastier than usual … why? he did not know … and he did not complain.

When he bit his tongue … he cried “ouch!” … but he did not complain.

He left for work and got caught in traffic … why the jam? he did not know … and did not complain.

He arrived at his office and found it on fire … the fireman told him he could not enter or salvage his possession. Why did the fire erupt? … he did not know … and he did not complain.

He went back home to find his apartment stolen … where everything went … and who took it … he did not know and did not complain.

He went to bed … (the theif still hiding beneath) … he never got to wake up again … and he had no need to complain.
