Poetry

My Poetry is my therapy and therefore I am its only judge, and I don’t know what to make of it. On the one hand, there is a hope that it is an accurate portrayal of the type of thoughts that go through my mind, which would then allow me to look at them from a distance and move on. On the other hand, I never give it much effort to edit and improve. My poetry is more like bleeding, once it oozes out, it clots and I can’t do much with it. So in terms of quality, I have no ambition. Note: Many of these poems are an ongoing collaboration with Waleed Naif.

  1. Ya alBostoni, you are a poet by birth, though you deny it all the time:) Yes, poetry is always therapeutical and personal, yet it does not necessarily mean that your voice has no substantial contribution to the genre of poetry, to the hearts and minds of the reader.

Thank you for sharing them with us. Hope more on the way!!

PS: SOON is my favorite of all and will ever be:) It is your masterpiece…

  2. Thank you sitareist!
